What if movement wasn’t something we did, but something we allowed? What if the body could receive gravity rather than brace against it, yield into support rather than hold itself up?
In this workshop, we will explore where movement begins, how it organizes through the layers of our structure, and how to access the fluid intelligence of our tissues. Rather than holding, we explore yielding. Rather than controlling, we explore responsive attunement. When we attune to the fields of support we exist within—gravity, breath, cellular resonance, and the living world we can begin to experience the body as ecological. A body that does not just move, but is moved.
This work is drawn from explorations in Depth Ecology, Laban Bartinieff Movement Analysis, and Generative Somatics.
