Somatic Yoga


This class is taught by:
Participants will receive an overview of Somatics, a field of study that explores the relationship between the body, mind, and consciousness. Somatics focuses on the internal sensations, perceptions, and experiences of the body with a goal to enhance body awareness, improve posture and movement, reduce stress and pain, and to promote overall well-being.
Participants will explore the principles of Somatics through guided exercises, including a somatic yoga session, designed to help them connect with their body, regulate their nervous system, and cultivate resilience.
